There are 5 Aid station checkpoints on the marathon and 3 on the half marathon. All Aid stations will have shelter and will be well stocked with basic provisions and currently all will have the same choice of items (although we may review this before the event); Water, squash, cola, crisps, salted snacks, bananas, oranges, flapjack, Jaffa cakes & jelly sweets. (we cannot guarantee the jelly sweets will be suitable for vegan runners).

What does this mean? - it means that in line with most european trail races and now many UK trail races we will NOT be providing disposable cups at the aid stations, this is to cut down on both litter and waste.
Aid station volunteers will be happy to fill your water bladders and bottles for you, but we recommend you obtain a re-usable cup for drinks at the aid stations.  Something like one of these is ideal:

£3.95 - super light re-usable FOLDING CUP

£3.95 - Xmiles ECO Soft Cup - Xmiles

aid stations are at these distances:
In the SNAFU HALF MARATHON: 6.5km, 11km, 14.5km
In the FUBAR FULL MARATHON: 6.5km, 13.5km, 22km, 30.5km, 34.5km

(Aid station positions may be subject to change but we will advise you before the event if this is the case)
